The Altamira Caves and The Mage is not about Pythagoras, Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus, Mark Twain or any other exceptional man, although aspects of those lives are presented in this novel. On one level it is not about us, our ills, mistakes, and our view of the Akashic record. It is about others, and the quest to return one of their own to their realm and time. In the course of this book, there may be a bit of wisdom here and there, a bit of laughter, some facts thrown in, and of course, some tears. This is the life of a Being trapped in the cycles of birth and death, and about the others on the other side of the cave walls who call him back. In the end it just might be about hands and paint.

Biografía del autor

PanOrpheus is the author of the ‘Delphic Oracles’ series of metaphysical/visionary alternate history/fantasy sci-fi books. In 2014 he presented a new book ‘Songs and Stories from Tesla’s Tower’ that included Steam Punk elements and a Modern Mark Twain-like sense of humor. He is the 2015 winner of the Nikola Tesla’s World Award. His next book was ‘The Antikythera and The Source’ a book that explored the Antikythera, a Greek geared mechanism from 100-200 BC. This book follows an intervention team’s quest and explores Altamira and other cave wall art. He has lectured on Nikola Tesla notably at the Steampunk World’s Fair. In his spare time he plays a Moog Theremini and has performed at the Electro-music 2015 Conference.

    The Altamira Caves and The Mage
    Written by PanOrpheus

    It's a story of determination in returning one of their own to their realm and time. The author has an unusual way of telling stories but stick with the story, it is worth the ride. I'm rating this book five stars.

    This is a truly interesting book with a lot of interesting twists and turns. I've read several works by PanOrpheus in the past, and this book was one of his more interesting reads. It discusses, loosely, a lot of famous and powerful people from the past and goes into depths about the lives we live and how everything works. It felt very abstract to me and at times became difficult to follow, but it was also full of deep meaning and emotion.

    Definitely recommended for anyone who is a fan of the works of PanOrpheus! The Altamira Caves and The Mage is unique, but in a very good way!
