Sonaten und Partiten BWV 1001-1006

[English]The seminal work in the solo Violin repertoire, these were among the first works to showcase the technical abilities of the Violin. The Suite consists of 3 Sonatas, each with four movements in the traditional slow-fast-slow-fast pattern, and 3 Partias, which vary with four to seven dance-like movements.
